Abstract

Come and nourish your soul in the Graduate Student Resource Center for the GSC Food-for-Thought sessions, where we are showcasing the work of local artists and community organizations. In this session, attendees will learn about how urban youth in Philadelphia engage with issues of violence through collaboration and education in the arts. Their voices are the highlight of the session and they will engage conference attendees on issues that effect urban youth in Philadelphia through their stories while sharing "truth through words". Food and refreshments will be available.
