This research study utilized bibliometric methods to analyze publications rates among female and male lead authors in six leading peer-reviewed journals in Educational Technology (ET) fields during the past ten years. Data was analyzed to determine if differences or trends exist in the rates of publishing between genders. The findings of this descriptive study indicate subtle differences in publication rates, which hold practical relevance in terms of the visibility of women scholars and the representation of females in ET fields.
