Session Type: Symposium
In this panel, scholars from different areas explore the notion of learning from an expansive framework that aims to present some of the ways in which media engagement shapes the way youth move and connect within and across spaces. Drawing on their respective experiences as educators, scholars, filmmakers, designers and advocates, these panelists will question the traditional notion of learning spaces and offer a transformative definition of learning trajectories that can embrace the impact of media engagement in the lives of young people. This session will culminate with a conversation guided by a scholar to find potential pathways to continue these inquiry projects.
