Brief Description

The papers of this panel will examine various aspects of the Soviet Project (the carrying out of Soviet Communist ideas) during the Civil War and NEP era. Attention will focus on state/worker relations; the carrying out of land socialization, and certain Cheka activities in the economic realm.
