The purpose of this paper is to discuss how Internet resources can complement traditional textbook materials regarding fact-based financial statement fraud cases in order to make the coverage of such cases more interesting and educational for students. The paper discusses the use of the Internet resources for one case in detail–Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, LLC (Madoff Securities). The multi-media approach used for this one case can serve as an example for other commonly covered cases.
