Abstract

Increasing textbook cost, growing open education resources (OER), and ever-improving technology delivery, challenge accounting instructors to stay current and develop alternative pedagogy. We conducted an exploratory investigation on available open sources and new technologies supported by our
College, State University of New York at Canton. Based on these resources, we discussed benefits and challenges for various required course materials applicable to Foundations of Financial and Managerial
Accounting courses.
