Abstract

Many students view accounting as a boring subject. As a result, they choose other majors and accounting discipline loses many bright minds. We present three examples of assignments that connect accounting to everyday life. These have been tried and tested in both introductory and graduate accounting classes and the student feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
