Summary

This study adopted a concept-based approach to teaching German declension. Results from the intervention as evidenced in pre/post subject identification tasks, verbalization data, writing samples, and video-recordings of the class indicate that concept-based approaches can be powerful tools for creating awareness of and control over complex L2 forms.
