Political Marketing in Lithuania: intersections in the field

Abstract

The spread of democracy in Lithuania includes the ever-changing transformations of political processes. They are particularly visible during elections. In 2024, even three elections will be held in Lithuania: for the President, the EU Parliament and the Seimas. It is a good opportunity to see what changes are taking place in the political field in the light of the elections. The report will review the contexts of the last and upcoming elections, the main actors and their chosen strategies. The theoretical proposition of conclusions will be one of the leitmotifs of the report.

Short Bio

PhD candidate in politics at Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), lecturer at Kaunas University of Technology. Having spent more than twenty years as a political consultant, Linas Kontrimas turned to science. Analyzes and actively comments on political processes in Lithuania. The PhD topic is related to political relations with society.
