From Course Learning Objectives to Assessment for Learning

Abstract

This presentation describes how the author set course learning objectives and adopted assessment for learning to include students in her courses assessment process. This on-going formative assessment technique and feedback will motivate and enable students to manage and enhance their own learning while language instructors can examine and adjust their teaching strategies to help students better achieving their goals. The author will also share examples of strategies she implemented in her classrooms to help students become self-directed learners.
