Short Description

This session features a behind-the-scenes look at Florida’s web-based resource development system and the teacher professional development (PD) that prepares teachers to contribute resources. Model-Eliciting Activity (MEA) team members will highlight the process used to train teachers on instructional design skills for writing MEAs, which are open-ended, engineering-based problems that integrate STEM content and support language arts standards. A comparison of effectiveness of face-to-face, hybrid and webinar training will include teacher and program trainer/leader feedback.
