T66 D&D: Developing narratives to detect group meltdowns

Short Description

This roundtable addresses issues in developing a set of 12 narratives to simulate group work in a study of determine a set of critical group process dimensions and then analyze student responses along these dimensions for indicators of the health of a group’s operation. I developed 3 unique scenarios (one each depicting social loafing, group domination and equal contribution). I then authored narratives from the perspectives of the four members of each group.
