Short Description

This research identified best practices used by faculty and students during the dissertation process in an online doctoral program. Semi-structured interviews with program graduates and faculty provided insight into challenges faced when conducting research or mentoring students online, the usefulness of various technologies for online mentoring, faculty mentoring strategies and strategies used by online students to succeed.
