Say What? Designing, Facilitating, and Assessing for Intersubjectivity within Online Discussions

Short Description

A threaded discussion with vibrant participation is an exciting opportunity. Yet, such lively discussions occur less often than they should. This pre-conference workshop will engage designers, faculty, & administrators in understanding intersubjectivity within asynchronous, online discussions and how to design, facilitate, and assess for intersubjectivity within these discussions. Tactile exercises included! Participants should bring their laptop or tablet computers as well as examples of discussion prompts and/or discussion grading rubrics (not required).
