Schools are growing saturated with technology. How are libraries and the librarians who serve them changing in light of this technology? Forty-seven school librarians were surveyed and 10 school library experts were interviewed about recent changes in their libraries and their roles. Responses indicate that the physical space of libraries is being re-conceptualized around technology, and that the librarians are assuming a stronger presence as IT specialists. Implications for practitioners and educators are discussed.
