Effects of Conflict Resolution Training on Intercultural Communicative Competence

Short Description

I present the results of an experiment that investigates online conflict resolution training and its impact on intercultural communicative competence. The results should help instructional design professionals and intercultural trainers choose content that benefits their learners. In addition to the experiment’s results, I also present a rubric for evaluating intercultural communicative competence, four roleplays designed to facilitate practice resolving intercultural misunderstandings, and a conflict resolution process that may increase learners’ intercultural communicative competence.
