Short Description

This research, currently in its analysis stage will, at time of the conference, report the completed study from survey research. The study began as an IRB approved Science Fair study including thirty-six middle school students responding to questions related to students’ adoption of social media and use of smartphone within three areas: Learning, socializing, and play/entertainment. Using the same survey instrument, the study extended to include 109 undergraduate and graduate students at a Southwest University.
