Short Description

The aim of this paper is to report preliminary findings of a research project aiming to create mobile applications for supporting hearing impaired children’s literacy development. Three individual applications were prepared and ported into tablet computers for investigations. Semi-structured interviews were conducted for expert evaluations. Mobile applications were reviewed in accordance with expert reviews and project went on the usability testing phase. Preliminary findings and guidelines for application development is provided.
