Short Description

The New Media Consortium’s Horizon Report: K-12 (2013) places BYOD in “near-term horizon” and in its “Key Trends” stating a growing number of schools are launching BYOD programs and BYOD is “becoming more common”(2013, 7). Unfortunately at this time, research that examines BYOD and its impact on learning and teaching practice is scarce. Taking educational design research approach, this roundtable discusses future research on BYOD programs to explore effective ways for its implementation in schools.
