The results of a content analysis of the Quarterly Review of Distance Education using ERIC descriptors and a classification system developed by Zawacki-Ricter (2009) is presented in order to identify the major areas of research and research trends in the journal from Volume 1, Number 1 to the present issue. Demographic data will also be presented concerning authors and institutional affiliations by country
