The MOOC-within-a-course: Designing a Professional Development MOOC as Part of a Graduate Level Course Experience

Short Description

This presentation shares the process, artifacts, and outcomes of a four-week professional development MOOC that was designed and delivered by an instructor and graduate students enrolled in a for-credit seminar on open learning. Graduate students learned about MOOCs while engaged in module development, and then assisted in MOOC facilitation. In this manner, the MOOC supported the learning processes of two distinct set of learners.
