Short Description

This presentation will provide recommendations for the design and development of applications that support the instruction of mathematics through the use of Naturalistic User Interfaces. Much of the discussion will center on Gestural Conceptual Mapping and how this theory can be applied in the design and development of embodied learning applications for mathematics. In addition, recommendations will be made in regards to how best to conduct design-based research on Naturalistic User Interfaces.
