Training Instructional Designers as Edupreneurs

Short Description

This proposal offers a novel approach to training instructional designers within the context of a student-led service center, Learning Design Solutions (LearnDS). It describes a unique milieu for graduate students to practice and sharpen their instructional design, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. Through LearnDS, members and collaborators are exposed to educational projects that allow them to thrive not only as instructional designers, but as edupreneurs (educators+entrepreneurs) equipped to lead organizations and make sound business decisions.
