Short Description

The Cherokee Nation has made efforts in recent years to disseminate cultural awareness among its citizens as well as the public through an increase in language learning programs. Online language classes, learning tools, and educational games have been offered free to the public. This session will provide an overview of the Cherokee online language learning program with a focused analysis of perceptions of the course design and learning experience based on research conducted with participants.
