Short Description

Many questions have been raised as to whether or not learning institutions are preparing students with the theoretical and practical tools needed to compete and succeed within the current contexts of their fields. This paper discusses how expanding upon the theory of Teaching for Understanding (TfU) enabled us to design an innovative capstone course that ultimately produced an enhanced student learning experience and greater rates of student success.
