Short Description

Educational institutions have moved to take advantage of the online learning opportunities. However, faculty appear to be hesitant to engage in this mode of instruction. Sometimes online education presents a fear for job stability and ownership of materials. In many instances moving a course to an online environment becomes a simple exercise in transferring course materials into PDFs and PowerPoint. With appropriate professional development faculty will be more willing to adopt this mode of instruction.
