Eye tracker devices can record play-learners’ eye movements and provide data on where the play-learners is looking while interacting with the game environment. Eye tracking, therefore, could be an effective method to collect the in-situ game data created by tracking and recording play-learners’ behavior and performance in a serious game environment. This study investigates how the eye tracking method can be used for serious game analytics in role-playing genre of serious game context.
