In spite of extensive research on supports for simulation-based learning, the instructional design for effective simulation learning is less investigated than the effect of simulation learning. The purpose of this study was to explore the simulation approach connecting to each principle of the First Principles to improve the quality of the instruction. The study suggested three assertions for better simulation learning implementation regarding Demonstration Principle, Application Principle, and Task-Centered Principle & Integration Principle. As an additional dimension of First Principles, the possibility of peer interaction was reviewed.
