Digital Fabrication has the potential to change the fabric of our classroom curriculum. Our research looks at how 2d and 3d printing can change the perception and attitudes of elementary students towards STEM careers. Previous research shows when used correctly, manipulatives help students make connection and develop a deeper understanding in their educational journey. Our study looks at how creating their own manipulatives using 2d and 3d technology impact the students learning process.
