Short Description

Teamwork trust plays an important role in a collaborative online learning environment. Understanding factors contributing to a better teamwork trust experience for students helps instructors prepare appropriate teaching strategies. The purpose of the study was to understand the relationships of teamwork trust and learner-centered teaching strategy, cognitive presence, and social presence. The results indicated that learner-centered teaching strategy, cognitive presence, and social presence were positively related to teamwork affective trust and cognitive trust.
