Of the 88 presidents who have served AECT since 1923, only 17 were/are women. In the past 12 years, however, women have filled the position 50% of the time. In this session, we will discuss the U.S. laws and movements regarding women’s rights that have changed since the founding of AECT. Several women who have recently served as AECT president present their experiences in running the organization.
