Short Description

Unearned privilege, racism, sexism, ableism, and other forms of injustice occur both in and out of the IDT field. Social neutrality fallacies disguise these injustices by normalizing the positionalities and privileges of those with the most power. When we fail to recognize and disrupt social neutrality myths, we perpetuate injustice. Everyone in the IDT field has a responsibility to understand, recognize, and disrupt the fallacies of social neutrality that are common to our field.
