Designing Digital Badges for a College Course

Short Description

This presentation shares the design, development, and implementation process used for digital badges in an undergraduate course on Educational Technology. Specific attention is used to the framework that supported the design of five different types of badges and the way in which each type acknowledges a different type of achievement and is awarded through a different process. Evaluation data also will be shared, focusing on learner attitudes and motivation.
