Having Agency in Conditions That Are Not Equitable: An Examination of Donors Choose Data

Short Description

This study examines how teachers are having agency through the creation of Donors Choose projects using a sample of projects from more than 350,000 teachers. A basic text analysis approach was used to identify categories of resources requested and differences in categories over time and across subject area and poverty level were examined. This study makes contributions to better understanding how teachers are using Donors Choose to enact their agency in a novel way.
