Short Description

Dissatisfied with the effectiveness of their professional development offerings, a group of school administrators participated in a project to redesign them. An unanticipated outcome of the project, which was modeled after Delphi methods, was a typology of professional development. Differences in three aspect of the workshops allowed the leaders to clearly understand and communicate the nature of workshops. This session summarizes the work and the types of workshops they identified.
