Departmental accreditation process is important to ensure the quality of the program. However, there is sometimes lack of buy-in and involvement from the faculty members. The session discusses a cause analysis conducted to address the lack of engineering faculty members’ buy-in and involvement in the departmental-accreditation process and to identify suitable interventions. Guided by the updated Behavior Engineering Model, results signify the need for improvement in the environmental factors. Implications and recommendations are further presented.
