When communicating instructional design plans, one might create a storyboard on paper or use design software (e.g., Adobe XD). Using such design software can facilitate communication, but then the developer must recreate the interface in the development tool. Should instructional designers use XCode to eliminate that inefficiency? By designing and developing an instructional app (The Rembrandt App) in XCode in this session, we consider the extent to which XCode supports both designers and developers.
