Improving Instructional Development Software

Short Description

Many instructional technologists utilize commercial software to develop instruction, but there are few such tools available and the popular ones favor instructional presentation over learner practice. We need to improve instructional development tools for all learners, including culturally diverse ones. This session reviews the current state of software for instructional development and demonstrates a new software tool that enables instructional developers and teachers to create lessons that include both instructional presentations and learner practice.
