Thu, Nov 5, 3:00 to 4:15pm EST (3:00 to 4:15pm EST), Virtual AECT, Grand4

Short Description

When it comes to online instructional videos, instructors and instructional designers often have different perspectives on what makes effective online video lectures. This study attempts to investigate varied perspectives on instructional videos by analyzing the views of instructional designers and those of the faculty. Based on survey results of designers and instructors concerning the use of instructional videos in online education, this study purports to reveal and bridge the above-mentioned gap and aims to identify best practices to produce and assemble instructional videos in online courses.
