Short Description

Collaborative learning settings have evolved from face-to-face collaborative learning to CSCL and even blended collaborative learning, for the reason that blended collaborative learning could maximize the best advantages of face-to-face learning and multiple information and communications technologies to deliver learning. This systematic review describes 61 empirical studies of blended collaborative learning from twenty-six different countries on instructional setting, content areas, participants’ demographics, research designs, collaborative manner, collaborative technologies, independent and dependent variables, and data-collection tools.
