The origins of technological innovations must be explored through human’s desire to create. Practitioners and researchers alike must be sensitive and concerned about culturally situating the design of technological tools that we use and employ. This awareness makes what we design better and more impactful. Further, it can ultimately improve the human condition. In this concurrent session, we share findings from our research on how the link between culture and human conditions produces technological innovations.
