Short Description

A learner analysis of 12th grade female Career and Technical Education Emerging Health Professional students was conducted. The results informed the design of a Hand Hygiene Serious Simulation Game (HH-SSG) to promote student engagement via autonomy, competency and relatedness. Instructional design features for the HH-SSG are presented. The poster will present efficacy testing results of the HH-SSG focusing on learner-centric design features and student choice to persist in advancing to sequentially more difficult level attainment.
