Implementing Inclusive Practices in the STEM Classroom

Short Description

Equity, diversity and inclusion practices are essential in all settings, but particularly crucial elements for learners to receive the full benefits of higher education. To promote cultural diversity and incorporate more inclusive practices, instructors and IDs, at the Colorado School of Mines, participated in hands-on workshops. These workshops sought grow the instructors’ ability to recognize and incorporate learner experiences and needs, and apply instructional design in their current courses further promoting equity, diversity and inclusion.
