Short Description

In this session researchers will share their findings regarding students’ perceptions on the opportunities and challenges of an international teaching practicum. We will discuss implications for the design of international teaching experiences that are based on using culturally sustaining pedagogy along with experiential learning. Recommendations include critical reflection, international collaboration, incorporation of local culture, student-centered design, differentiation, and improved teaching practice.
