Examination of Students’ Interactions and Online Presence in Case-Based Discussions

Short Description

This study examined differences in high and low levels of students’ interactions, how cognitive presence was expressed among them, and differences in their perceptions of online presence in online case-based discussions. The results revealed that there were differences in students’ participation and their perceptions of teaching presence in case-based discussions. However, there were no differences at the levels of cognitive presence and perceptions of cognitive presence between students at high and low levels of interactions.
