Short Description

This is the result of quantitative analysis of the students' data participating in an adaptive learning course at a university in southwestern of the U.S. Since, adaptive learning is known as the future of online learning in at least next twenty years, more research needs to be done in order to measure the effectiveness of challenges of the available systems. This research could shed light on the way of instructors and instructional designers working to enhance and improve this new online learning system. This research specifically focused on the self-regulated learning skills of the students and intended to measure if the students' SRL skills could be improved during a semester working with an adaptive learning system.
