Short Description

University of Pikeville endeavored to create a First Year Survival Guide for Appalachia created for students by students. The researchers were keen to address research gaps regarding student perception of OER-enabled pedagogy and their comfort sharing work publically online with attribution. This session overviews the results of the first year of research (Fall 2019 and Spring 2020), as well as introduces the structure of the second year of ongoing research regarding this project.
