Short Description

This study aims at examining the existing empirical literature comparing online to face-to-face computer programming learning experiences. Specifically, we employ meta-analysis to examine the question of how does online computer programming instruction compare with face-to-face on learner’s cognitive learning outcome, affective learning outcome, and retention in a programming course.
