The purpose of this design and development case study is to systematically describe the design, development, and evaluation of an online statistics course for educational technology doctoral students. The course was designed using a combination of instructional design principles, learning theories, and technologies to prepare online doctoral students to independently conduct statistical analyses on datasets relevant to the field. This presentation shares the design and development experiences in the first offering of this course.
