Instructor Intent to Integrate Online Collaborative Activities: A Case Study

Wed, Nov 4, 9:00 to 10:15am EST (9:00 to 10:15am EST), Virtual AECT, City1

Short Description

The ability to work on a team is especially important in collaborative cultures such as healthcare. However, a majority of undergraduate faculty do not integrate online collaborative activities, and most employers agree students are not well-prepared in these higher-order skills. This study explores the factors that influence instructor intent to integrate online collaborative activities. Presentation of findings will include best practices, major challenges, and perceived needs for technical resources from the instructor perspective.
